We prioritise health and safety across all our operations and are committed to ensuring all supervisory staff receive industry-leading training, with IOSH Managing Safely as a minimum standard.
We require all supervisors to attain the NEBOSH General Certificate within their first year, with our health and safety management team already qualified to this standard as a minimum benchmark.
For each project, we create a training matrix enabling management to confirm qualifications and competencies are in place before work begins, ensuring compliance and performance throughout delivery.
We use a behavioural safety app called ALTR (Act, Listen, Think, Respond), enabling personnel to support site safety by anonymously reporting safe or unsafe acts on tablet stations at every site.
Reports reach management instantly, enabling swift responses and insight. This supports immediate risk resolution, targeted training, and toolbox talks addressing emerging operational trends.
ALTR improves hazard identification, strengthens compliance, enhances housekeeping and reinforces behaviours, delivering safety improvements through real-time reporting and proactive action.
Trade-specific training requirements are monitored through our HR system, KRONOS, which alerts managers 90, 60 and 30 days before certification expiry, ensuring refresher training is arranged promptly.
All training is delivered through ACTTnow, our specialist training provider and sister company, which is accredited to deliver ECITB, CITB and City & Guilds courses.
