Pressure Integrity
Boiler pressure parts are the components directly exposed to steam or water under pressure; therefore, because they operate under extreme pressures and temperatures, these parts are critical to both the safety and efficiency of a boiler.
As such, they must meet rigorous design, fabrication, and inspection standards (including ASME and PED).
Any failure of a pressure part can have catastrophic consequences. For this reason, design integrity, material selection, specialist welding and thorough inspection are all heavily regulated and essential.
